Drama can be damaging
Good morning!
Do any of you have trouble with not taking on someone else’s drama? Have you learned how to not let it affect or weigh you down? I’m just learning, and boy can it be freeing. But I still have a hard time not feeling bad or guilty thinking I’m not there for that person. Why is that? I found some tips that might help me, and you if you need it. Number 5 hits me the most.

Authentically You
There comes a moment in every life—a whisper, an undeniable pull—where we realize we’ve been living someone else’s story. Boy, do I know that I’ve lived my life for a long time through someone else’s expectations. We could be wearing the masks of success, feeling like you have to conform, or protecting yourself, but deep inside, there’s a longing for something real, something true, something more. That moment is the call to awaken to your authentic self.
To be my authentic self I’ve had to embrace who I truly am—my values, passions, quirks, and all—and expressing that without fear of judgment and the hard part in my opinion. It’s about aligning actions and words with my inner beliefs and being comfortable in my own skin. Something a lot of us have trouble doing. Staying true to yourself brings a sense of fulfillment. What do they say, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” Taking small steps, like sharing my honest opinions or pursuing what genuinely excites me, will hopefully lead to a more authentic life. Journaling my journey has been extremely helpful and fulfilling. I’m confronting fears, letting go of habits that no longer serve me, and making choices that align with what I feel is my inner purpose. Throughout my life I haven’t known what my inner purpose was. Just following what others thought was right and not speaking up. But I’m learning, and through this process, I’m creating greater self-awareness, confidence, and fulfillment, showing up in the world more authentically and meaningful. Daily journaling has become a habit, and I love it. Below is a link to some excellent journals I found on Amazon. I can suggest the Law of Attraction planner; I am on my second one and I love it. 😊https://amzn.to/3R2JZt7

Your thoughts become your reality
Ever wonder how you got where you are? It was you, your thoughts – good or bad. It’s interesting to look back 5 or 10 years and remember what your desire was, is that where you are now? I’ve just started to become aware of how my thoughts and feelings dictate the direction my life goes in. I wish I would have figured this out years and years ago. How different my life might be. Oh well, at least now I know I am on the right path to enlightenment. I’m learning about affirmations and visualization, how they can keep your mind on the positive. Before I even get out of bed, I start my day by saying, “I am so grateful for all the wonderful things I have in my life” “I intend to have an awesome day today”. I visualize my day, smile, and you know what, I end up having a good day. It’s crazy! I’m so excited to learn more about connecting to the subconscious mind to create the life I desire. Only up from here! Til next time much love and light, muah!
Self-Care
Self-care is so important. And if you are someone like me, drop a comment below, you might need a little help to get you on your way. Here is something you can each day for the next seven days to get started on a new you.
Day 1: Morning me time

Kick off the day with 15-30 minutes dedicated solely to yourself. It could be journaling, stretching, sipping coffee in peace, or simply enjoying the quiet.
Day 2: Set Boundaries

Today, identify one area where you need to set or reinforce a boundary. Politely say no to something that doesn’t serve you. Post about how it feels to honor your needs
Day 3: Indulge in a favorite

Treat yourself to something that brings you joy—a favorite snack, hobby, or activity. Snap a photo or write about your experience to inspire others
Day 4: Detox From Negativity

Step away from something that drains you (social media, negative conversations, etc.) and replace it with positivity. Share what you chose to let go and how it felt.
Day 5: Celebrate your strengths

Write down 3 things you love about yourself or your abilities. Share them with pride, and encourage others to reflect on their own strengths too
Day 6: Mini Adventure

Break your routine and try something new! It could be visiting a local spot, trying a new recipe, or doing a creative project. Document your mini-adventure and share it!
Day 7: Reflect and Recharge

Take time to reflect on the past week—what did you learn about yourself? How do you feel? Share your favorite moment or biggest takeaway from the challenge
Spring is here!

Get the rain boots out and get all the gardening gear ready! Gardening can be a such a stress reliever. I used to love it. But at my age, ok I’m soon to be 61, it is really hard on the knees and back. So now I stick to potted flowers on the porch which are just as nice. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m so ready for nice weather and longer summer nights. Much love and light

Rainy Monday
Good Morning !
It’s Monday again
Drink coffee, ignore negativity and be amazing!
A new Friday will arrive in 4 days
End of the weekend already!
Where does the time go? Weekends don’t last long enough. Aside from dinner out with friends Friday night I’ve been working on the computer. Anyway, what are you all thinking about Washington these days? It’s insane. I really hope they don’t touch Medicaid or social security. The Veterans program… there is so much. Ugh but let’s not get into that. Honestly, I used to watch the news for hours every day. I just can’t anymore, it interrupts my flow right now.
And that flow is taking me down a new path. the last 100 days have been nothing but fascinating. Learning about the subconscious mind and how it just sits there and stays in the safe zone. Its running on what it learned when you were a child. I’m learning how to tap into it. I am only at the beginning of what I can learn about the mind. I do know or should I say I believe that our thoughts predict our future. Thoughts become things. Law of Attraction, law of assumption, and tons more literature on the subject that I am keeping enthralled. Affirmations, visualization, positive happy feeling is what I am about right now and it’s really brought me out into the light. Being aware, mindful really gives you a different perspective on life and yourself. I have so much to share, but I have things to do to get ready for the work week so I will say goodnight for now. Drop me a comment if there is a certain manifestation technique you’d like me to talk about. I’m learning about all of them right now LOL Much love and light …. muah!

Awareness
It can be really hard to keep on your path and not let someone’s opinions or actions make you step off the path. I have lived my whole life not being able to do this. I struggled with putting myself out there, putting myself first no matter the consequences. Funny thing though, at my age, I have finally discovered the power I have. The power to be my authentic self. It’s all about being aware, or you could call it being mindful. This journey for me started about 3 months ago, what can I say, I’m a late bloomer. But now that I have found that power within me, I will never give it up. to be continued……
Day by Day
good afternoon! Ok I hope you all will bear with me as I get this site up and running. This is my first time creating a page and it’s been interesting. Maybe give me some pointers if you happen to land here on my page. Just drop a comment down at the bottom. But I promise to get it figured out!
