Self-Care
Self-care is so important. And if you are someone like me, drop a comment below, you might need a little help to get you on your way. Here is something you can each day for the next seven days to get started on a new you.
Day 1: Morning me time

Kick off the day with 15-30 minutes dedicated solely to yourself. It could be journaling, stretching, sipping coffee in peace, or simply enjoying the quiet.
Day 2: Set Boundaries

Today, identify one area where you need to set or reinforce a boundary. Politely say no to something that doesn’t serve you. Post about how it feels to honor your needs
Day 3: Indulge in a favorite

Treat yourself to something that brings you joy—a favorite snack, hobby, or activity. Snap a photo or write about your experience to inspire others
Day 4: Detox From Negativity

Step away from something that drains you (social media, negative conversations, etc.) and replace it with positivity. Share what you chose to let go and how it felt.
Day 5: Celebrate your strengths

Write down 3 things you love about yourself or your abilities. Share them with pride, and encourage others to reflect on their own strengths too
Day 6: Mini Adventure

Break your routine and try something new! It could be visiting a local spot, trying a new recipe, or doing a creative project. Document your mini-adventure and share it!
Day 7: Reflect and Recharge

Take time to reflect on the past week—what did you learn about yourself? How do you feel? Share your favorite moment or biggest takeaway from the challenge
Spring is here!

Get the rain boots out and get all the gardening gear ready! Gardening can be a such a stress reliever. I used to love it. But at my age, ok I’m soon to be 61, it is really hard on the knees and back. So now I stick to potted flowers on the porch which are just as nice. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m so ready for nice weather and longer summer nights. Much love and light

Rainy Monday
Good Morning !
It’s Monday again
Drink coffee, ignore negativity and be amazing!
A new Friday will arrive in 4 days
End of the weekend already!
Where does the time go? Weekends don’t last long enough. Aside from dinner out with friends Friday night I’ve been working on the computer. Anyway, what are you all thinking about Washington these days? It’s insane. I really hope they don’t touch Medicaid or social security. The Veterans program… there is so much. Ugh but let’s not get into that. Honestly, I used to watch the news for hours every day. I just can’t anymore, it interrupts my flow right now.
And that flow is taking me down a new path. the last 100 days have been nothing but fascinating. Learning about the subconscious mind and how it just sits there and stays in the safe zone. Its running on what it learned when you were a child. I’m learning how to tap into it. I am only at the beginning of what I can learn about the mind. I do know or should I say I believe that our thoughts predict our future. Thoughts become things. Law of Attraction, law of assumption, and tons more literature on the subject that I am keeping enthralled. Affirmations, visualization, positive happy feeling is what I am about right now and it’s really brought me out into the light. Being aware, mindful really gives you a different perspective on life and yourself. I have so much to share, but I have things to do to get ready for the work week so I will say goodnight for now. Drop me a comment if there is a certain manifestation technique you’d like me to talk about. I’m learning about all of them right now LOL Much love and light …. muah!

Awareness
It can be really hard to keep on your path and not let someone’s opinions or actions make you step off the path. I have lived my whole life not being able to do this. I struggled with putting myself out there, putting myself first no matter the consequences. Funny thing though, at my age, I have finally discovered the power I have. The power to be my authentic self. It’s all about being aware, or you could call it being mindful. This journey for me started about 3 months ago, what can I say, I’m a late bloomer. But now that I have found that power within me, I will never give it up. to be continued……
Day by Day
good afternoon! Ok I hope you all will bear with me as I get this site up and running. This is my first time creating a page and it’s been interesting. Maybe give me some pointers if you happen to land here on my page. Just drop a comment down at the bottom. But I promise to get it figured out!
You are the power
Embrace Your Authentic Self: The Power of Being You
In a world full of trends and expectations, the greatest gift you can give yourself is the freedom to be who you truly are. Embracing your authentic self is not just a personal journey; it’s a revolution that begins within you.
Why Being You Matters
- Unique Perspective: Your individuality brings a unique viewpoint to the table. No one else has your experiences, thoughts, and dreams, and sharing these enriches the world around you.
- Confidence Boost: When you embrace your true self, you naturally exude confidence. This self-assuredness is incredibly attractive and can inspire others to be themselves.
- Meaningful Connections: Authenticity fosters genuine relationships. When you show up as your true self, you attract like-minded individuals who appreciate you for who you are.
- Inspirational Impact: By being yourself, you may inspire others to do the same. Your courage to live authentically can motivate those around you to shed their own masks.
Tips for Embracing Your Authenticity
- Self-Reflection: Take the time to understand your values, passions, and goals. Knowing what truly matters to you is the first step in living authentically.
- Practice Self-Acceptance: Embrace your flaws and strengths alike. Remember, perfection is an illusion; everyone has their quirks that make them human.
- Set Boundaries: Don’t be afraid to say no to things that don’t resonate with your true self. Protecting your energy is key to living authentically.
- Surround Yourself with Positivity: Connect with people who uplift you and celebrate your authenticity. Positive influences can empower you to continue being yourself.
Conclusion
Being unapologetically you is a journey that requires courage, but it is incredibly rewarding. Life is too short to be anything but genuine. So, step into the world with confidence, embrace your unique self, and let your authenticity shine! Remember, the best version of you is the real you.
Introduction
Hey everyone!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Susan. I am 60 years old, have three kids and 5 grandkids. I have been married twice, the first I was 19 when I got married and that marriage lasted 18 years and gave me three awesome kids. More about that later. My second marriage lasted just 1 year, more about that later too. That marriage ended in 2004 and ever since then I’ve been in out of relationships. The reason I wanted to start this blog was to share some of my experiences regarding family, career, relationships, and personal growth. A little bit of everything really! Hopefully, I can touch at least one of you out there reading this. Maybe some of you are going through some of the same things. You are definitely not alone!
Much love and light, Muahh!
